THE MISSION

Isaiah 2:19-21
“People will flee to caves in the rocks
and to holes in the ground
from the fearful presence of the Lord
and the splendor of his majesty,
when he rises to shake the earth.
In that day people will throw away
to the moles and bats
their idols of silver and idols of gold,
which they made to worship.
They will flee to caverns in the rocks
and to the overhanging crags
from the fearful presence of the Lord
and the splendor of his majesty,
when he rises to shake the earth
.”

Through this blog we really wanted to create a tool that can be used by all, whether seeking God, struggling in a relationship with Him, or even the one who knows Him already. We wanted to provide an opportunity to bring others closer to Him through real Christians and our daily walk. Jesus said in John 13:35, that people will know Him by OUR love. How much more should we pour our lives into others? Blogging is a great way to do that.

We are hoping it will create an avenue for people to really cope with their lives and be encouraged daily. Matt 5:13 says that we are the salt of the world…Let’s not lose our saltiness, but be inspired to get out of the salt shaker and be used by God in a tasty way! Okay…that sounded weird but hopefully you get it…lol!

Isn’t it a scary thing sitting in a dark and dingy, probably even stinky cave all by yourself, not knowing what will happen? What danger and mystery awaits you outside? In that day when Jesus comes back…there will be lots of people running for the caves to hide from his majesty. Will you be caught clinging to your wallet and purse strings, or hovering over your flat screen tv? Or maybe worrying about your grandmother’s pearl earrings you wish you would have grabbed before leaving the house? Will that be you? Will you chose to be shaken from the salt shaker? Or will you wait until you are shaken from the caves?
